Doug, wow. Thanks for putting these up. I am drawn to Cisne; what a visual feast. Just the vibrancy of the colors alone would do it for me but the way you laid it out has such life. It’s really a compelling work. I enjoy each of the three, but I just can’t keep my eyes off Cisne.
Thanks, Sharon! For years, I’ve been doing abstract pieces like the ones I’ve included on the blog, but I did them in colored ink, and they always appeared flat to me. Now I’ve started to do them in oil-pastel, which seems to give more depth to the paintings. I plan to post more over the coming months.
